Email & SMS Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
We sell phone systems for a living, so we know what unwanted messages feel like. This policy explains where we get your email address and phone number, what we send, how to stop it in one step — and the rules our customers must follow when they send messages through Blinksoft. It is part of our Terms of Service. We never sell or rent your contact information.
1. Our commitment
Blinksoft LLC ("Blinksoft," "we," "us") sends email and text messages only to people who have a reason to hear from us: they asked us to, they are our customer, or they gave us their information in a business context and we are following up on it. We honor every opt-out. We do not buy lists, we do not sell yours, and we would rather send fewer messages to people who want them than more messages to people who do not.
2. How we get your email address
You submitted a form on blinksoft.ai or one of our landing pages — a demo request, quote request, trial signup, contact form, or content download. You started a chat, replied to an ad, or asked a question through a social or review platform. You are an authorized contact on a Blinksoft account, or someone at your company added you as one. You gave us a card or scanned a badge at a trade show, event, or meeting. You were referred to us by a partner or reseller who confirmed you agreed to be contacted. Or we identified you as a relevant business contact through a reputable business-data provider, and we are reaching out about a product related to your professional role.
If you ever want to know how we got your address, ask privacy@blinksoft.ai and we will tell you.
3. What we send
Transactional and service messages. These relate to your account or a request you made, and you receive them because we have a business relationship, not because you opted into marketing. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop these: quotes, proposals, and contract documents; order confirmations, provisioning and porting updates, and installation scheduling; invoices, payment receipts, and billing notices; outage alerts, maintenance windows, and security notices; support ticket updates and replies from your Client Concierge; and required legal and regulatory notices, including changes to these policies. If you no longer wish to receive service messages, the only way to stop them is to close your account or ask to be removed as an authorized contact — we cannot operate your phone system without being able to reach you.
Marketing messages. Product announcements, feature releases, customer stories, pricing and promotions, event invitations, and educational content about business phone systems. Every one of these has a one-click unsubscribe. Expected frequency: no more than 4 marketing emails per month.
4. What we never do
We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease our email or SMS lists to anyone. We do not buy or use purchased spam lists, harvested addresses, or scraped contacts. We do not use deceptive "From" names, spoofed headers, or misleading subject lines. We do not hide the unsubscribe link, require you to log in to unsubscribe, or make you give a reason. We do not re-add you to a list after you unsubscribe, and we do not treat a new form submission as blanket re-consent for something you specifically opted out of. We do not condition a purchase, quote, or trial on your agreeing to receive marketing texts.
5. CAN-SPAM compliance
Our commercial email complies with the CAN-SPAM Act. Specifically, every commercial message we send: uses accurate header information — a real "From," "Reply-To," and originating domain that identify Blinksoft; uses a subject line that reflects the actual content of the message; identifies itself as an advertisement where required; includes our valid physical postal address; includes a clear, conspicuous, working unsubscribe mechanism that stays active for at least 30 days after sending; and honors opt-out requests promptly — our systems process them within 1 business day, and in every case within the 10 business days the law allows. We monitor the third parties who send email on our behalf and hold them to the same standard.
6. How to unsubscribe
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. It works in one click and needs no login. Use the preference center linked in every email to choose which topics you receive instead of stopping all of them. Email privacy@blinksoft.ai with the address you want removed. Call (877) 505-0170 and tell us.
Once you unsubscribe, we add your address to a permanent suppression list. We keep that record indefinitely for the sole purpose of remembering not to contact you — deleting it would risk emailing you again by accident. A message already in the queue may reach you shortly after you opt out; anything arriving more than 10 business days later is an error we want to hear about at privacy@blinksoft.ai.
7. Text messaging (SMS/MMS)
Program disclosure. Program name: Blinksoft Alerts. Blinksoft sends account, support, and — where you opt in — sales and marketing text messages. Message frequency varies, typically up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver the messages through our messaging service providers.
Consent. We send marketing or promotional texts only to people who gave prior express written consent — by checking an unchecked box on a form that clearly discloses the program, by texting a keyword to our number, or by another affirmative action that is separate from any other agreement. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything, getting a quote, or starting a trial. Consent you give to Blinksoft applies to Blinksoft only; we do not pass your number to other sellers, lead buyers, or "marketing partners." Service and account texts — porting updates, outage alerts, appointment confirmations, security codes — are sent to account contacts on the basis of our business relationship.
When we send. We send marketing texts only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the recipient's local time zone, and we observe stricter state limits where they apply. Outage, security, and emergency service alerts may be sent at any hour.
Records and registration. We retain proof of consent for at least 4 years, maintain an internal do-not-call and do-not-text list, honor the National Do Not Call Registry where applicable, and register our messaging traffic under the A2P 10DLC framework with the carriers.
8. Stopping text messages
Reply STOP to any message from us. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT, and any other reasonable indication that you want the messages to stop — including a plain-English reply such as "please stop texting me." You will receive one confirmation message and nothing after that. Reply HELP for support information, or contact (877) 505-0170. Opt-out requests are processed within 10 business days at the outside, and in practice immediately. Revoking consent for marketing texts also stops marketing calls to that number; it does not stop essential service and account messages while you remain a customer. You may revoke consent through any reasonable means — replying STOP, telling an agent on a call, or emailing us. We will not require you to use a specific method or fill out a form.
9. Rules for customers who message through Blinksoft
If you use Blinksoft to send text messages to your own contacts, this section is part of your obligations under our Terms of Service.
You are the sender. Blinksoft provides the platform. You are the legally responsible sender of every message you originate. TCPA liability, which runs to statutory damages of $500 to $1,500 per message, attaches to you — not to us.
Registration. United States application-to-person (A2P) messaging requires registration of your brand and campaigns with The Campaign Registry (10DLC) before sending; we assist with registration as part of onboarding. Carriers block or heavily filter unregistered traffic, and traffic that does not match a registered campaign may be blocked by carriers or by us. Keeping your registered use cases accurate is your responsibility.
Consent. Obtain opt-in before messaging any number: prior express written consent for marketing texts — a signed form, website checkbox, or keyword opt-in that clearly discloses who will message, what about, and how often — and prior express consent for informational texts. Implied consent — a number you found, bought, or scraped — is never sufficient. Keep records of each opt-in: who, when, how, and what they agreed to; the burden of proving consent is on the sender.
Identify yourself. Every campaign message must identify your business by name. Do not impersonate another person or business, and do not use shared public link shorteners that hide the destination; use full or branded links. Include opt-out instructions in the first message of any campaign and periodically thereafter.
Honor opt-outs immediately. Honor STOP — and STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, and any other reasonable indication the recipient wants messages to stop — immediately and without argument, and maintain your own suppression list. One final confirmation message is permitted; nothing further. Do not require a specific keyword or a form. Respond to HELP with your business name and contact information. The platform processes standard keywords automatically for registered campaigns, but you remain responsible for opt-outs received by any channel.
Respect hours and registries. Send during reasonable hours for the recipient's time zone — several states restrict messaging times — and comply with the National Do Not Call Registry and state telemarketing registration requirements.
Keep content compliant. The following may not be sent through the platform, regardless of consent, reflecting carrier rules that apply to all US messaging: sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, and tobacco or vape content ("SHAFT"), including cannabis and CBD, even where state-legal; high-risk financial offers — payday loans, debt relief, credit repair, cryptocurrency promotion, stock alerts; gambling, lead generation and affiliate marketing, list rental, and get-rich or work-from-home schemes; illegal content, phishing, malware, deception, harassment, and threats; and any message structured to evade this policy, carrier filtering, or opt-out handling — including snowshoeing across numbers, deliberate misspellings, and rotating content.
What we will do. We monitor for spam complaints, high opt-out rates, carrier filtering, and industry traceback requests — aggregate signals, not the content of your conversations. We may throttle, filter, or suspend messaging on your account to stop ongoing harm or to comply with a carrier or regulator, and we will tell you why. Carrier fines attributable to your traffic are your responsibility, and repeated or serious violations are grounds for termination under the Terms of Service.
10. Reporting abuse
If you received email or texts from Blinksoft that you did not ask for, or that kept coming after you opted out, tell us at security@blinksoft.ai. Please forward the message with its full headers if you can. We investigate every report and will tell you what we found.
If you received unwanted messages from a Blinksoft customer — a business using our platform — report it to the same address. We will identify the sender, require them to suppress your number, and take enforcement action if needed. Note that we can stop the sender from messaging you but cannot delete the records they hold about you; that request goes to them. You may also file a complaint with the FCC, the FTC, or the New York State Attorney General.
11. Phishing and impersonation
Blinksoft will never ask you by email or text for your password, a full payment card number, a bank account number, or a one-time security code. We will not ask you to move money urgently or to install remote-access software that we did not schedule with you first. Legitimate Blinksoft email comes from @blinksoft.ai. We publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for our sending domains. If a message looks wrong, do not click — forward it to security@blinksoft.ai and call us at (877) 505-0170 to confirm.
12. Privacy and data
Email addresses and phone numbers are handled under our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have to access, correct, or delete it. Marketing emails may include tracking pixels and tagged links that tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked; you can suppress most of this by blocking remote images in your email client. Separately, FCC rules give telephone customers the right to restrict marketing use of their Customer Proprietary Network Information — see our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or the rules change; material changes affecting how we contact you will be announced by email before they take effect.
